Be sure to stop in and see
the portrait General Ulysses S. Grant
in the lobby of the Mary P. Shelton Library.

The portrait is an unsigned 19th century piece attributed to Benjamin Franklin Rinehart, American Artist, 1829-1885. The painting is on indefinite loan from the Indian Hill Historical Society. Andrew Hauck, Jr. donated the painting to the society.

Be sure to stop by the Mary P. Shelton Library in Georgetown and check out our new reading corner in the children’s room. The reading corner was purchased with generous donations from Hydetec Fantasy Football and the Research Friends of the Library.
