Summary of Previous Meeting: Sardinia book club met February 17 to discuss “The Art of Racing in the Rain” by Garth Stein. Our entire group liked this selection that brought our readers a glimpse of life through the eyes of a philosophical dog. We recommend this title.
The next selection for Sardinia Library Book is “Nellie Taft: The Unconventional First Lady of the Ragtime Era,” by Carl Anthony. The author provides a detailed look into Mrs. Taft’s life....her ambitions for her husband, her dislike of the Roosevelts, her love of champagne, automobiles and travel.
This book group will meet on Wednesday, March 17 at 11:00 am at Sardinia Library.
