That crack of the bull whip signals adventure as the Cincinnati Museum Center presents Uncovering Egypt at the Sardinia Library on Monday, July 8, 2024, at 5:30pm. Students (recommended ages 7-13) get to explore a mock excavation site from Egypt and learn the basics of archeology.

Look to the skies! Paranormal researcher and author (Weird Ohio, The Big Book of Ohio Ghost Stories, and Southern Ohio Legends & Lore) James A. Willis recounts some of the most infamous UFO sightings over Ohio. Thanks to a generous donation by Sardinia Library’s Friends of the Library, Sardinia Library is happy to present UFOs Over Ohio on Monday, July 1, 2024, at 6pm.

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, its Comets and Meteors! Sardinia Library hosts the Cincinnati Observatory, as a part of BCPL’s Summer Reading Program, on Monday, June 24, 2024 at 5:30pm. Learn how to make a meteor using dry ice and touch a real piece of a meteorite. This all ages event may not come around every 75 years, but you won’t want to miss learning about these celestial occurrences!
