The Summer Reading Program for 2026 is here!
From June 15, 2026 - July 25, 2026, every branch of the Brown County Public Library is ready for dino-stomping fun with Unearth a Story - a dinosaur-themed summer reading adventure!
Nothing is better than reading and dinosaurs! Your library wants to help your kiddos beat the summer slide with our reading challenges (where they get to earn tickets for prizes) and have prehistoric-level fun with our weekly programs for their age group.
This year, we're also introducing a new SRP challenge experience for Teens (7th grade and up). Teens get their own reading/challenge log to track their own points earned towards teen-only prizes!
Register your child or teen today in-person at your BCPL branch, or through the SRP online registration form. Physical reading logs can be picked up at your local library branch!
Also, checkout our online Unearth a Story Beanstack reading challenges for different age groups where there will be more chances to win more prizes while tracking favorite reads. Adults (18 +) also have the opportunity to track reads and win prizes on Beanstack, too! The online reading challenges begin in June.
After registering for SRP and Beanstack, get ready for the best events of the summer! If you have any questions, or need to register for specific events - don't hesitate to give your branch a call.
