Ever camp out under the stars and wish you knew how to spot constellations? The Cincinnati Observatory presents the fun and en”light”ening event, “Stars and Constellations” to help you learn how on Monday, June 26, 2023 at 5:30pm at the Sardinia Library (Camp Kindness).

Sardinia Library (Camp Kindness) is hosting the Greater Cincinnati Herpetological Society and its program “Meet the Reptiles!” Discover fun facts about reptiles, and important safety tips for camping in areas where snakes may be present. Join our live animal event on Monday, June 12, 2023, at 5:30pm.

Sardinia Library (Camp Kindness) kicks off the Summer Reading Program with “Wild Canids of North America” on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 5:30pm. This all-ages presentation is given by the Ohio Canid Center (formerly known as Ironwood Wolves) and features exciting info on wolves, foxes, and coyotes as well as a live canid ambassador.

Buckeye Search and Rescue Dogs will visit the Sardinia Library (Camp Kindness) on Monday, June 19, 2023 at 5:30pm. Learn more about BSARD and its mission, and meet one of their brave and friendly canine ambassadors, too!

If you’re a local musician, singer or music enthusiast looking for a place to play or listen, then Sardinia Library has a gig for you! Music Jam is extending an open invitation to our latest jam session on May 3, 2023, at 5:30pm. Non-electric instruments only, please.

Celebrate the start of the Mt. Orab Library's Summer Reading Program "All Together Now" with Madcap Puppets performing their show “When You Wish Upon a Fish” at the Mt. Orab Park’s stage on Friday, June 2, 2023, from 6:00pm-7:00pm! The brothers Grimm are trying to decide how their tale of the Fisherman and His Wife will go! Both brothers have their own version different than the other, and will need your help to decide on which story. What’s that in the woods? Was it bigfoot? Outdoorswoman, conservationist, author, TV personality and 2019 Bigfooter of the Year Bea Mills (beaoutdoors.org) will help you read the signs.
