All ages--family event

Are you a local musician looking for a place to play? It's time for Sardinia Library's next Music Jam Session on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 5:30pm. On the first Wednesday of each month we extend an open invitation to pickers, strummers, drummers, fiddlers, and all acoustic musicians and singers in between, as well as listeners.

Please bring nonelectric instruments only, and prepare to take your turn playing a song or two while the rest of the group plays, sings or listens along.

GLOW to the Mt. Orab Library for a free black light puppet show! Taylor-Made Puppets are sure to entertain with colorful characters on a hand-made puppet theater stage. It’s sure to be a BRIGHT event for the whole family! 

What’s all the buzz about on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 10am? Gary Keuffer, Director of Education for the Brown County Beekeepers Association, presenting Introduction to Beekeeping at the Sardinia Library – that’s what!

Cuddle up to Fall with a good book!  Find many gently used children's and adult books, DVDs, CDs, and more.   All proceeds from this book sale will benefit the Friends of the Library, which sponsor many of the library's programs.

Open, assemble then spin! You will create a spin art machine from a Kiwi Co. Tinker Crate. Experiment with centrifugal force to create beautiful swirling pictures.

Beware this spooky affair - attend if you dare! You could become ensnared in a costume contest, trick-or-treat stations, ghostly crafts, gooey snacks, and a Halloween movie. This free family party will be a scary good time!

Are you ready for a Trivia event  that goes bump in the night? Sardinia Library’s Trivia Night-Halloween Edition takes place Friday, October 21, 2022 at 6:30pm at the Sardinia Perk (121 North Main Street). Assemble your best baddies to compete in this team-based trivia competition. Enjoy some bubbling hot beverages and devilish good eats (available for purchase from the Perk’s ghostly crew).

Journey to Sardinia Library for a Prehistoric good time! Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 10am the Library is hosting a Dino Day with crafts and a classic dinosaur themed family movie. Thanks to a partnership with Ohio Library Council and Cosi-Center of Science and Industry, the first 25 families in attendance will receive a free COSI dinosaur learning kit. Make your way to Sardinia Library for Dino Day before it becomes extinct!
