Enjoy royal pampering and princess etiquette lessons with Princess Grace Events-Cincinnati. Two special sessions will be held on this day:  10:30-11:30am and 12:00-1:00pm (please choose only one). Madcap Puppets at the Gaslight Theater - Georgetown Library

Drop in to the historic Gaslight Theater to watch the Madcap Puppets perform a beautiful adaptation of the enchanted classic “The Wonderful World of Oz”. People of all ages will be delighted as they journey down the yellow brick road with Dorothy, Toto, the Scarecrow, the Cowardly Lion and the Tin Man.

Stop in to support the library and find great deals on gently used books, movies and cds. Author Visit with Peter Bronson - Georgetown Library

Mr. Bronson is a newsman, editor, author and publisher who spent nearly 20 years as an editor and columnist at the Cincinnati Enquirer. He has written eight books including “The Man Who Saved Cincinnati”. Come discover the fascinating story of Lew Wallace; youngest general in the civil war who fought at the Battle of Shiloh, defended Cincinnati from a Confederate attack, formed the first Black Brigade in the Union Army, and wrote Ben-Hur, an American classic. Copies of the book will be available for purchase.

Learn how to prepare to “Get Mooned” by the upcoming solar eclipse! Learn about solar eclipses and the safety of using viewing glasses to watch them during a presentation by Alta Beasley.
