Find some delicious holiday baking inspiration at Carey’s Cooking Corner’s Christmas Dessert Bar Exchange at the Georgetown Library on Friday, December 8, 2023, at 2:00pm. Bring some samples of your favorite dessert bars along with copies of the recipe to share with others.

Duck, dodge, and throw your way through our family snowball(plush) fight! Refuel afterward at the hot chocolate bar with Santa. Don’t forget to make your list, be ready to hug him twice, and let Santa know that you have been nice!

Create Mod Podge Christmas Ornaments using dominoes.  You can gift these unique ornaments to someone at Christmas or keep them for yourself. 

Dash over to the Brown County Fairgrounds for Georgetown’s annual Christmas Celebration. Visit with some of Santa’s favorite “library elves”. Decorate a delicious Christmas cookie and don’t spare the sprinkles!

Stomp your way into Georgetown Library for a ground-shaking party! Chomp on some tasty snacks and prepare to unearth some dino-riffic activities. The first 14 families will receive a free COSI Kit. Each kit contains fun dinosaur-themed STEAM activities for kids from kindergarten through 8th grade. One kit per family. Come explore this roaringly fun t-rex-ellent family event! 

Georgetown Library is hosting a Christmas Photography Contest for amateur photographers. 

Drop in and let your creativity soar when you turn cardboard into unique, one-of-a-kind creations! We will provide the supplies; you bring the imagination!

Teens are invited to come gobble waffles till they wobble! Enjoy a delicious waffle bar and play fun Thanksgiving-themed games. 

Ms. Adeline welcomes the Georgetown Police Department to storytime!  Children will enjoy stories and learning about the things that a police officer does while he is working.
