National Library Week is April 23, 2023, and to show our appreciation we are “Popping for Patrons” at the Georgetown Library! During the hours of 12:00-6:30pm pop in and grab a tasty treat. Popcorn and our patrons just can’t be beat! 

Whether you like to tumble a tower or dance on a dare, teens (ages 13-18) are invited to spend time having fun playing games and sharing pizza. Come on your own, or bring a friend because game night will be a win!

The Mary P. Shelton Library is turning 100! Celebrate this historic occasion with us. Let’s review past pages and begin a new chapter as we present the newly remodeled children’s area. We hope to see you here! 

To all the little princesses in the land, ages 2 to 10, you are hereby invited to a grand celebration with the Georgetown Library. 

Meet author and (Georgetown resident) Deborah G. Anderson.  Her children’s book, “A Tale of Two” is an uplifting story about friendship that the entire family will enjoy.  Copies of her book will be available for purchase (cash only).

Teens, get ready for an egg-citing time!  Use your artistic skills to decorate eggs, and participate in several challenging egg-themed events that are sure to crack you up.

Ahoy mateys and welcome ashore!  This swashbuckling adventure is for boys ages 12 and under.  Dressing in your pirate’s best is encouraged but is not required.  Come alone or bring your crew to discover the treasure that awaits you.

Hop over to Georgetown Library for an Easter Egg Hunt!  Children ages 12 and under are invited to search for treats and see if they can find the lucky egg!

Create a beautiful poly burlap mesh flower wreath for Spring!  This class will fill up fast so call 937-378-3197 to register.  All materials will be provided.  Adults only.  There will be a limit of one wreath per household.
