Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, its Comets and Meteors! Sardinia Library hosts the Cincinnati Observatory, as a part of BCPL’s Summer Reading Program, on Monday, June 24, 2024 at 5:30pm. Learn how to make a meteor using dry ice and touch a real piece of a meteorite. This all ages event may not come around every 75 years, but you won’t want to miss learning about these celestial occurrences!

There’s lots to uncover at the Sardinia Library! Back by popular demand, educator Emily Uldrich delivers a presentation on “Archaeology: Native Mounds in Ohio” on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at 5:30pm. If you’re 12 and up, and love to find out more about Ohio’s ancient history, don’t miss this deep dive into the myths, legends, and evidence surrounding the identity of Ohio’s Mound Builders.
