If you’re a local musician, singer or music enthusiast looking for a place to play or listen, then Sardinia Library has a gig for you! Music Jam is extending an open invitation to our latest jam session on August 7, 2024, at 5:30pm. Non-electric instruments only, please.

Put on your trivia cap, because on Friday, August 2, 2024, at 6:30pm, Sardinia Library presents the community-favorite team Trivia Night hosted by the Sardinia Perk, located at 121 North Main Street. Refreshments are available for purchase at this all-ages event. For more information call 937-446-1565.

Family Traditions Animal Adventure brings the wild to you on Monday, July 15, 2024, at 5:30pm at the Sardinia Library. Learn all about animal habitat conservation efforts as a variety of exotic and domestic animals visit your hometown! No registration required! This program is sponsored in whole or in part by a Libraries Accelerating Learning grant from the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce.

Is your family ready for an out-of-this-world adventure? Journey through space when Drake Planetarium lands at Georgetown Library (approximately 30-minutes per session). This immersive cosmic experience was sponsored in whole or in part by a Libraries Accelerating Learning grant through the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce.   

Attention penguin lovers! A second session has been added (1:00pm and 2:30pm) with a limit of 125 people per session. So let’s flip for penguins when Newport Aquarium’s WAVE Foundation rolls into Georgetown. A live African penguin, and his handlers, will take center stage at the historic Gaslight Theater located at 110 E. State Street, Georgetown, Ohio. So pick your session; march over and dive into learning about penguin adaptations. From 1:30pm – 2:30pm enjoy free hotdogs and soft drinks provided by The Georgetown Police Department.

All branches are closed in observance of Independence Day. 

Summer Meals to Go is back at the Brown County Public Library! Every Monday, from June 10 - August 5, kids 0-18 are welcome to grab a bag of 5 free meals each week from 11am-4pm.
